At my current job I’m the one and only IT person so I have to do a bit of everything. One of the areas in which I’m still developing my skills is DNS. I’m still struggling a bit with CNAME vs. TXT and all of those other record types. But in my interactions I discovered the Google Admin Toolbox. It has a variety of tools but the one which seems most interesting right now is DIG, a tool to check to what a DNS record is pointing. I’m not sure I have a real need for it at this point, but I’m sure it will come in handy in the future.
